Wash Day (every 2 weeks): • Wet hair
• Separate into 8 sections
• Detangle in sections with fingers and olive oil
• Rinse
• Shampoo in same sections focusing on scalp
• Rinse
• Condition in sections
• Comb out any remaining tangles
• Rinse
• ACV rinse
• Towel dry
• Lightly moisturize
• Diffuse on high speed low heat focusing on roots
• When hair is about 80% dry I moisturize again and then finish diffusing
All Other Days: • Spritz hair with watered down conditioner
• Seal with coconut oil
Hello again Caramel, I really love the twists when it is fresh. I find that mine gets ruffled quickly. I usually cover it at nights, but still fizzes out quickly. Any tips?
Originally I started this blog as a way to encourage light-skinned naturals since we often get told that we aren't dark enough to have natural hair. As I learned more, I realized that while I still want to encourage light-skinned girls I don't want to separate them from the rest of the natural community. I'm here to learn from, help, and encourage everyone.
