- Originally I started this blog as a way to encourage light-skinned naturals since we often get told that we aren't dark enough to have natural hair. As I learned more, I realized that while I still want to encourage light-skinned girls I don't want to separate them from the rest of the natural community. Hello again Caramel, I really love the twists when it is fresh. I find that mine gets ruffled quickly. I usually cover it at nights, but still fizzes out quickly. Any tips?
