My lips have been chapped for the longest time. Its a problem that I've struggled with for as long as I can remember. Usually its only my bottom lip that gets chapped. My top lip has always been cooperative. But lately, both my lips have been hopelessly chapped. So, I'm on the hunt for something to make my lips soft and pretty. I've never had a lip care regimen before but maybe its time to start one.My current plan is to make a lip scrub that I will use a couple of times a week. I also need to come up with a lip moisturizer. I think I've tried every chapstick under the sun and nothing works. Frankly, I think they just make things worse. So I need to figure out how to make my own.
Any suggestions?

Hi Caramel, have you tried petroleum jelly for your chapped lips? You should honey, it works like magic. By the way, I love your blog. Love those twists too.
@Genie- Thank you very much, I'll definitely try it.
Hey Caramel,
I'd recommend a shea butter lip balm. Natural and overall healthier in my opinion.
drink water...hydrates from the inside out.
Hi... I'm with Anonymous. You have to be drinking a TON of water, especially now that the air is dryer for the winter in the USA.
Good tip: your urine should look like really LIGHT lemonade. Yellow like a highlighter in this case means you're not taking in enough. Clear means you're overdoing it.
Try it... then, put on lip balm every night before bed. That together with water intake will shape your lips right up! :D
Thanks for the tips everyone!
